Get your Shakespeare on as we take you back to Verona and into a no-holds barred fancy dress party at Melbourne’s sexiest mansion.
On Sunday April 4, a completely themed venue inspired by the Baz Luhrmann interpretation will take your breath away, in a night full of entertainment, romance and intrigue.
Secret Society’s Bodie Czeladka, will also be celebrating his birthday in true Baroq House style on this night, and for those that have been present at either of the Secret Society boys’ previous birthday parties, you know this is an event not to be missed.
This is an extremely limited event, with only 300 tickets available. With complimentary champagne on arrival and canapés to get you started, this will be one of our biggest events ever. This will be a ticketed only event.

Last year our good mate Laz who is also the designer for Secret Society who we think is pretty dope turned 24 - so to show him we appreciate the amazing work he had done for us over the 2 years and his all round ‘kick it like a madman’ style, we threw a party to suit this supasta fly boy.
And by far to date it was the most fun party… EVER!!!
Now in 2010 and three years working together we don’t appreciate him any less and think its time to do it all OVER again, but we aren’t going to do it unless we can top last years party so with out much further adieu, WE BRING TO YOU…

There will be old school hip hop tunes all night, the whole venue will have a hip hop theme, break dancers, Live MC’s…
And a performance of both last years and this years MASSIVE viral videos! We can’t wait to show you the new clip, so stay tuned! (This years rap ensemble is a melody of 3 of the biggest names in Hip Hop and just quietly I think we slayed the originals!)
Plus, we heard P-Diddy is gonna be there. Well….we asked him to come anyway. We’re pretty tight. We rock the ghetto together and stuff. Like, the cops said we need to stay at least 1km away from him at all times, and something about a restraining order, but, you know…

This weekend will be no exception, the Aus Day long weekend comedown has subsided so we will smashing it hard with an amazing night planned this Friday…
Then a little romantic Valentines day warm-up the weekend after… and for all those single folk, a last minute chance for Nic & Bodie (a.k.a Cupid) to help set you up with a potential gift giver for Valentines day!!
THE FRIDAYS JUST KEEP GETTING BETTER!

This Friday Channel 9’s new youth-skewed HD channel GO! is shooting a Getaway style show featuring Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide’s best in cocktail lounges and entertainment venues. The show is called ‘Social’ and they will be filming all that is Baroq House on Friday night, so come down and check it all out from 9pm- 5am
Also to make sure the venue is pumping and the atmosphere is at its best, we have got a little extra budget and ensured the following incentives all in the one week to make the place absolutely pump.
1) On the decks we have Jesus and Matty Charles (Dirty Laundry) doing a master mix & vocal genius collaboration that will lift the roof off!
2) We have arranged our vertically challenged but very special friend to bring all his dwarfy goodness for a dance show like no other.
3) We have a choreographed dance show on the marble top bar from two young superstars Kate Lister and Sam Gaskin.
4) Two photographers roaming through the venue capturing ever second of the action.
5) Plus a few sneaky extras, never seen before that you will have to see to believe!
As if you would want to do anything else with your Friday nights!

The return of Baroq House Fridays for 2010
Let us start by saying “HAPPY NEW YEAR!” and welcome to 2010.
After the festive n holiday season we here at the Secret Society office are looking forward to returning to the routine of Melbourne’s most reliably rocking Friday… We have missed you all so very much and haven’t really done a lot besides relax since Boxing day, so our batteries are charged and our party meter is turned all the way up to fark yeh! (that’s high)
Our 2010 mission statement is as follows
To continually provide you with the best of Melbourne’s who’s who accompanied by the best music and party vibe on offer and not loose our souls in doing so, put simply Baroq Fridays - a pretty face in the right place, rolling like there’s no tomorrow!

We have been a little lazy this week as we are all winding down towards Christmas, so we just thought we would flick you guys a message to let you know the photos from last week will be up by midnight tonight. We have had 5 worker monkeys fall sick this week, not the mention we took two other Secret Society humans off work and away from their desks on Wednesday for a little Torquay team building trip.

What a success!
The first OFFICIAL event/party 5TH AVENUE & SECRET SOCIETY hit the high seas on Sunday (22nd Nov) bringing together two of Melbourne’s most iconic promotional teams to bring you this exclusive event.
After months of oooooing and rrrring and endless discussions regarding what this first union would entail, we were stuck with one question…. WHERE TO HOLD THE PARTY?
Not being able to agree to a venue we took to the seas on a Sunday afternoon that 300 passengers won’t soon forget.
We entrusted the services of the brother of the guy who captained the titanic and he promised we wouldn’t have a repeat of last time but with a D.J line up like this, the ship was rocking.. Grant Smilie, Mark John and Jake james were spinning the discs and the party was HOT HOT HOT
